Little Claire goes Steampunk!

Marianne here with my first project post for Little Claire. I love making vintage cards and I thought I would show how you can make a steampunk card which is easier than you may think.

You will need
Little Claire Good Times stamp set
Kraft card, 6" x 6" card blank
Memento Rich Cocoa stamp pad
Burlap(or you can use builder's scrim or raffia lace, anything with a similar texture)
Baker's twine

Tim Holtz steampunk on the edge die, Memory Box moustache dies and Brown Core'dinations
Distress tool and Sanding block

Stamp owl and sentiment onto kraft card using Memento ink. Cut to size. Trim paper to size. Distress edges of image and paper with tool. (If you don't have a distress tool use scissors.)

Attach paper to kraft card, distress edges of card, cut burlap and fray sides. Attach 2 pieces of baker's twine across burlap.

Attach to card blank. Diecut cogs using Tim Holtz die and Core'dinations then sand down for distressed look. Attach to edge. Attach image using 3d glue or foam pads.

Diecut moustaches from Core'dinations and attach.
